About Lesson

The achilles tendon can become very hard when really it should serve to help release tension from the foot as well as receive energies from the earth. Today we will try a simple way to let go of some of this hardness.
  1. Take a belt, long piece of rope, necktie, scarf…anything you have that is long and can be tied.
  2. Tie it around the base of a chair that has legs, or a low drawer from a bureau. Tie it so that when you place the achilles tendon into it, it is slightly suspended off the ground.
  3. Do this either seated or lying down.
Spend 5 to 15 minutes in this suspended state. Imageine the achilles tendon is like a rubber band. It has some “bounce” to it. Release this “bounce” into the belt and let it rebound back to the foot. Imagine you are creating a pathway for energy to be eliminated and then brought bask in, cleansed
