About Lesson

Proprioception and the Feet

Proprioception is just a fancy word for your ability to feel where you are in space. For example, perhaps you feel like you are standing evenly on both feet or doing a yoga pose the way the teaher says to do it. But along comes the teacher to make an adjustment. “What” we say (if only internally), “It sure felt like I was doing it right.”

There are many reasons why proprioception can get thrown off but the feet are the key to reorienting ourself in space.

The feet are very good at receiving sensory information that provide feedback to the brain. Touch, vibration, and elongation, allowing us to perceive and receive earth energies. They also allow us to eliminate stressors and toxins through our feet.

The more you practice the exercises in this challenge, the better you will be at moving in space and getting rid of psychic waste.

Today, go bak in the challenge and choose one activity that you found especially useful to you. Commit to making this one exercises something that you will continue once the 30 Day Challenge has ended!
