Take a walk today but just don’t take any old walk!
Hooray, you’ve made it one week on the 30 day foot challenge By now your feet should be talking to you! Maybe you notice them more. Maybe you have more sensation. Maybe you can feel where you are holding more tension. Can you feel what happens in your feet when you get nervous or experience fear?
So today, take your new feet for a walk But this time:
Pay attention to how they touch the ground
Pay attention to the elegant motion forward and back as each foot steps you forward
Pay attention to how the ground feels under your feet If you are walking on pavement does it feel different than walking on dirt, on sand, on grass. Even with your shoes on you can sense these differences.
Take a walk today mindfully. If you do you will begin to feel what amazingly sensitive feelers our humble feet can be..
